Estudo descritivo, de abordagem quantitativa, para avaliar as estratégias realizadas pelo enfermeiro no ambiente escolar de um Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil, através do Projeto de Extensão Aprendendo Saúde na Escola, e ainda analisar o perfil das crianças atendidas. A pesquisa foi realizada com uma amostra de 350 atendimentos de enfermagem. Verificamos que em dez alunos foram encontradas lesões corporais sugestivas de violência/negligência familiar. Estavam registradas atividades educativas, abordando os seguintes temas: dengue, higiene pessoal, parasitose e destino dos resíduos sólidos. Constatamos que 4,6 por cento das crianças atendidas estavam desnutridas, 6,4 por cento encontravam-se em risco nutricional e que 80 por cento das crianças atendidas não apresentavam uma higiene oral adequada, demonstrada através da presença de cáries. Na avaliação dos professores sobre a atuação do projeto, foi possível identificar relatos sobre a diminuição dos episódios de violência doméstica contra a criança. O projeto tem proporcionado a ação do trabalho interdisciplinar, favorecendo as atividades de promoção de saúde tendo a escola como um espaço da atenção básica, devendo ser entendido como um núcleo motivador da atuação participativa dos profissionais de saúde na comunidade escolar.
A descriptive study, using a quantitative approach to evaluate the strategies carried through by nurses in a school environment of a Municipal Center of Children Education, through the Project of Extension Learning Health in the School, and still to analyze the profile of the children attended. The research was carried through with a sample of 350 nursing attendances. We verify that in 10 pupils had been found suggestive corporal lesions of family violence/negligence. They were registered educative activities, involving the following subjects: dengue, personal hygiene, parasitosis and the destination of the solid residues. We evidence that 4.6 percent of the children attended were unfed, and that 6.4 percent were in nutritional risk, and that 80 percent of children did not presented an adequate oral hygiene, demonstrated through the presence of caries. In the evaluation of the professors about the performance of the project it was possible to identify stories on the reduction of the episodes of domestic violence against the child. The Project has provided to the action of the Interdisciplinary work favoring the health promotion activities having the school as a space of the Basic Attention, and need to be understood as a motivator nucleus of the participatory performance of the health professionals in the pertaining to school community.

Estudo descritivo do tipo corte transversal, realizado em seis Unidades Básicas de Saúde da Família, por observação direta das ações de Educação em Saúde. Teve por objetivo avaliar as ações que abordavam os seguintes temas: planejamento familiar, aleitamento materno, famílias cadastradas no Programa Bolsa Família e crianças em risco nutricional. Para efeito de padronização dos dados, optou-se por considerar neste estudo as atividades que foram realizadas fora do atendimento individual agendado para resolução de problemas específicos. Observamos o despreparo de alguns profissionais para o pleno funcionamento das atividades e poucas ações sobre planejamento familiar para adolescentes. Assuntos relevantes como a importância de comparecer às atividades educativas da unidade foram abordados na maior parte das ações desenvolvidas para as famílias do Programa Bolsa Família. As atividades para crianças em risco nutricional são realizadas juntamente com as famílias do Programa Bolsa Família. Concluiu-se que há necessidade de se garantir que a equipe trabalhe de forma multidisciplinar e integrada nas atividades educativas como forma de contribuir para os ajustes necessários à implementação da Educação em Saúde efetiva, integral e humanizada.

The objective was to evaluate the actions of Education Health carried through in the informative sessions that approached the following subjects: family planning, breast feeding, families registered in Nutrition Programmes and children in nutritional risk. For the study proposed we establish that al action developed out side the individual approach to resolved heath problems will be considerer as health education. The unprepared of some professionals for the full functioning of the activities can still be observed. The findings of this study disclose the little participation of these Units in the accomplishment of educative activities on family planning come back toward the adolescents. Concerning the activities developed for the families registered in Nutrition Programmes, excellent subjects as the importance to appear the educative activities of the unit had been boarded in the most part of the lectures. The social activities for children in nutritional risk are carried out together with the families of the Nutrition Programmes. Although we observed several activities we still need to improved the multidisciplinary work to implement the heath promotion.

Estudo descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, realizado em seis Unidades Básicas de Saúde da Família da Região de Maruípe, Vitória - ES, composta por um total de 27 equipes de saúde. Teve por objetivo avaliar as ações de Educação em Saúde por meio da observação direta das consultas de acompanhamento do crescimento e desenvolvimento infantil para crianças de 0-6 anos das equipes básicas de Saúde da Família. Os indicadores observados foram: verificação das vacinas e orientação sobre o calendário básico de imunização, orientação sobre cuidados de higiene da criança, oral e ambiental, alimentação e prevenção de acidentes domésticos. Foram observadas 20 consultas. Em 95% (19) delas percebeu-se a utilização de linguagem clara, acessível. Constatou-se que 20% (4) dos profissionais orientaram quanto aos cuidados com a higiene ambiental, 85% (17) verificaram as vacinas e orientaram sobre o calendário básico. As orientações sobre alimentação saudável foram realizadas por 75% (15) dos profissionais e sobre higiene oral apenas 10% (2). As consultas foram feitas, em sua maioria (12), por médicos. Apesar da linguagem acessível, poucos profissionais aproveitam o contato com a família para educá-la em ações simples que promovam saúde e previnam doenças.
Descriptive study, with a quantitative approach, conducted in six Family Health Units. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the actions of Health Education through the direct observation of twenty consultations. In 95% of the consultations a clear and accessible vocabulary was used. Supporting materials were emploied in 5% of the consultations to guarantee the medical advice?s understanding. Twenty per cent of the professionals advised about the basic attitudes towards environmental hygiene. Eighty five per cent checked the vaccines taken and gave orientation about the dates following the basic vaccine calendar. The advisement about healthy alimentation was done by 75% of the professionals, meanwhile,oral hygiene orientation was done byonly 10% of the professionals , and 5% gave information about the child´s development for the mothers and caretakers. Sixty per cent of the consultations were done by physicians, while nurses got involved in other actions and lost the opportunities to guide the mothers and caretakers on how to promote health and prevent deseases.
